The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Saturday inaugurated a separate election office to oversee its campaign activities ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.The office was formally opened in the afternoon (January 10) at House 10/C, Road 90, Gulshan, Dhaka, with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir cutting the ribbon.BNP Standing Committee member Selima Rahman, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, and other leaders of the party’s Election Management Committee were present at the inauguration ceremony. Speaking to journalists after the event, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that all activities of BNP’s Election Steering Committee, formed for the 13th parliamentary election, will be coordinated and operated from the newly inaugurated office.
Rizvi also said that a call center has been set up at the office to facilitate smooth management of election-related activities. “Conducting a national election is a challenging task. This separate office has been established to ensure that the entire process is carried out efficiently and in an organized manner,” he added.
Party leaders said the new office will serve as the central hub for coordinating BNP’s nationwide election strategy and campaign operations ahead of the polls.
