ABM Abdus Sattar has been appointed as the Private Secretary to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. At the same time, AAM Saleh, popularly known as Saleh Shibli, has been appointed as his Press Secretary.The information was disclosed in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Saturday (January 3).According to the press release, for the information of all concerned, former Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh ABM Abdus Sattar has been appointed as the Private Secretary to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. It further stated that AAM Saleh (Saleh Shibli), former General Secretary of the Dhaka Reporters Unity, has been appointed as Press Secretary to Tarique Rahman.

It is noteworthy that ABM Abdus Sattar previously served as the Private Secretary to the late BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. Most recently, in October last year, he was also nominated as the Chief National Commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts.
