BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that the party will declare a “war on corruption” if it returns to power.He made the remarks on Tuesday (9 December) at a discussion held at the Krishibid Institute in the capital’s Khamarbari area. The event was part of BNP’s seven-day program titled “Post-Uprising Plan for Rebuilding the Nation.”Rizvi said, “BNP is capable of forming a corruption-free government and freeing people from their sufferings. The party’s commitments are not hollow.”He also questioned the legitimacy of the current government’s election, stating, “If the government has no valid mandate, on whose mandate are they operating?”Leaders and activists from various levels of BNP across the country were present at the discussion.
