BNP Extends Financial Support to Youngest Bangladeshi International Master Manon Reza Neer

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has extended financial assistance to the country’s youngest International Master (IM) chess player Manon Reza Neer on behalf of the party’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.The assistance was handed over by Aminul Huq, BNP’s Central Sports Affairs Secretary, Convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP, and former captain of the Bangladesh National Football Team. The event took place on Thursday noon at Neer’s residence in Dhaka Udyan, Mohammadpur.Manon Reza Neer will represent Bangladesh in the upcoming World Chess Championship, scheduled to be held in the last week of this month. The financial support was provided as part of his preparation for the global event.

During the visit, Aminul Huq said,
“There are countless talented athletes across Bangladesh. Following the directives of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, we always try to stand beside such promising individuals. The party will continue to extend all possible assistance for their education and sporting development.”

He added,
“Tarique Rahman attaches great importance to sports. He has adopted practical plans to rebuild the country’s sports sector for the next generation. Supporting talented athletes like Manon Reza Neer is part of that vision.”

Expressing his gratitude, Manon Reza Neer said,
“I will try my best to perform at my highest level in the World Cup. I sincerely thank BNP and Tarique Rahman for standing beside me during this crucial time.”

Among others present during the visit were ABM A. Razzak, Gazi Rezaunul Hossain Riaz, Haji Md. Yusuf, Mahbub Alam Montu, and several other leaders of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP.
