BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi stated that the late Tayim Bhuiyan, a martyr of the July 2024 mass uprising, did not sacrifice his life for personal or local interests, but for the noble cause of liberating the nation."From a remote paddy field far from the capital lies Tayim, but let us never forget the reason behind his sacrifice. He did not die for land disputes or local conflicts. He gave his life out of a commitment to free a nation," Rizvi said during a visit to Tayim’s grave on Monday morning.

Rizvi offered prayers at the grave of Shaheed Imam Hasan Tayim Bhuiyan, located in the family graveyard in Etbarpur village, Chandina Upazila of Cumilla, at around 11:30 AM. Following the visit, he met with the bereaved family and offered condolences on behalf of the "We Are BNP Family" platform, presenting a support cheque to Tayim’s mother.

“We Must Never Forget Tayim’s Sacrifice”

Addressing Tayim’s grieving mother, Rizvi remarked, “Tayim joined the July movement despite his family's concerns. He walked out of his home and never returned. Yet his mother lives on, bearing the pain of his loss with incredible strength. This sacrifice must not fade from memory. Honoring Tayim means remembering him always and standing for democracy as he did.”
