Five people were killed and more than a hundred injured in Narsingdi after widespread panic during an earthquake led residents to rush out of multi-story buildings and open areas. The information was confirmed by Narsingdi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Anwar Hossain in an official statement on Friday.
