Salahuddin Ahmed, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, has stated that if the party comes to power, it will restore faith and trust in Almighty Allah in the provisions of the constitution and the principles of state governance.He made the remarks on Saturday, November 15, while attending the International Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Conference at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka. The conference was attended by prominent scholars and Islamic thinkers from both Bangladesh and abroad.Salahuddin Ahmed said that BNP believes in one Allah and that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the final prophet. He further noted that Muslims in Palestine and Myanmar are being persecuted due to divisions within the Muslim community.

The BNP leader added that if the people of the country act responsibly and cooperate, the party will take legal measures to implement the demands of the Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Committee. He also emphasized that those who do not acknowledge the Prophet (PBUH) will not be considered Muslims by the BNP.
