Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who was ousted from power through a mass student-public uprising, has been found guilty of crimes against humanity by the International Crimes Tribunal.On Monday (17 November), Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Mojumdar of Tribunal-1 announced that the charges against Hasina had been proven beyond reasonable doubt. The three-member judicial panel, led by Justice Mojumdar, will deliver the sentences for Hasina and the two other defendants after reading out the full judgment.

The two other accused in the case are former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun.
