BNP Withdraws Expulsion Orders of 55 Leaders

Following their appeals, the BNP has revoked the expulsion orders of 55 leaders and restored their primary membership in accordance with party decisions. This was announced in a press release signed by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Thursday (20 November). The leaders had been expelled from all positions, including primary membership, for violating party discipline and engaging in activities against the party’s principles and policies. Among them were prominent figures such as Fayzul Kabir Talukdar, former General Secretary of Zianagar Upazila BNP in Pirojpur; Md. Enamul Haque Dulal, Senior Joint Convener of Betagi Municipality BNP in Barguna; Md. Shafi Khan, former member of Tangail District BNP; Md. Mahbubur Rahman Bacchu, former member of Tangibari Upazila Jubo Dal in Munshiganj; and Foyez Ahmed Liton, member of the central Jatio Shromik Dal, among others.

Other notable leaders whose expulsion orders were revoked include Md. Shahjahan Molla, former Vice President of Comilla North District BNP; Yusuf Bepari, General Secretary of Sadarpur Upazila BNP in Faridpur; Matiar Talukdar, former President of Krishnapur Union BNP; Md. Jaan Alam, former General Secretary of Charbadrason Upazila Krishak Dal; Faruk Ahmed, former advisor of Nawinagar Upazila BNP in Brahmanbaria; Md. Abdur Sobhan (Liton), former joint secretary of Shahamukhdoom Thana BNP in Rajshahi; and many others from various districts and levels of the party.

In addition, Md. Shahjadar, former General Secretary of Amragachhia Union BNP in Mirzaganj Upazila, whose position had been suspended along with primary membership, has also had the suspension revoked following his appeal.

The BNP’s decision restores these leaders’ roles and membership across all levels of the party, reaffirming their position within the organization.
