The "Legal and Health Support Cell for Oppressed Women and Children" of BNP has extended support to Raiser, a child from Jhalokathi who has been a victim of familial abuse. Following the directive of Tarique Rahman, members of the cell—Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Dr. Jabir Hasan, and Dr. Tanzila Akhtar—visited Raiser's residence on Tuesday to assess her overall condition.Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, central coordinator of the "Legal and Health Support Cell for Oppressed Women and Children" and BNP’s Health Affairs Secretary, spoke virtually with Raiser's grandparents and maternal aunt, assuring them of the cell’s continuous support whenever needed.

During the visit, the members of the cell delivered winter clothing, gifts, and financial assistance to Raiser's family on behalf of BNP’s Acting Chairman, Tarique Rahman.

Raiser, a four-year-old orphaned child, suffered abuse on October 1 at the hands of her father and stepmother, resulting in a fractured skull and cerebral hemorrhage. Earlier, members of the Jhalokathi branch of the "Legal and Health Support Cell for Oppressed Women and Children" had visited Raiser to provide her medical assistance and support.
