BNP Central Committee’s Training Affairs Secretary ABM Mosharraf Hossain has said that those who have committed wrongdoings will face justice in court, not through street retaliation. He made the remarks on Sunday (November 2) at a program held in front of the BNP office in Kalapara, marking the anniversary of Jubo Dal, the party’s youth wing. Addressing party activists, Mosharraf said there are many Awami League supporters in Kalapara, and not all of them are wrongdoers. “Many of them are good people. We should not harass anyone indiscriminately,” he said.
He further added, “Those who committed crimes will be tried in court, but we must remain compassionate toward ordinary people. Standing by others in times of hardship is a sign of true faith.”
Mosharraf emphasized that the people of Kalapara — regardless of political affiliation, be it Awami League, BNP, Jatiya Party, Jamaat, or others — should live together peacefully and work collectively for the development and well-being of the area.
