Ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has shortlisted 10 Supreme Court lawyers among its potential candidates for 237 constituencies. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the names on Monday during a press conference at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Speaking at the event, Mirza Fakhrul said the names represent potential nominees and that the list could be revised depending on the party’s strategic considerations and final decisions.
He also mentioned that the BNP has yet to declare candidates for 63 constituencies, suggesting that discussions and seat adjustments are still ongoing within the party and its allies.
