BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to contest in the upcoming 13th Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) elections for the first time. He will run from the Bogura-6 constituency.The announcement was made on Monday evening (November 3) by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir during a press conference held at the party chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, Dhaka. At the event, Fakhrul also unveiled the names of 237 BNP candidates for the upcoming polls.
