A delegation of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), led by Chief Major General Ibrahim Hilmy, paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman.The meeting took place on Sunday (14 September) at Army Headquarters in Dhaka. During the courtesy call, both sides exchanged greetings and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the military sector. Maldives Ambassador to Bangladesh, Shiuon Rasheed, was also present on the occasion. Major General Ibrahim Hilmy highly praised the professionalism of the Bangladesh Army, particularly its contribution to maintaining law and order at home and abroad in the current context.
