He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the general meeting of the Dhaka District Road Transport and Vehicle Workers Union General Meeting 2025 at the Engineering Institute auditorium in the capital on Saturday afternoon.He said, "The transport sector is plagued by terrorism, robbery, extortion on the roads. This sector has 7.5 million workers and big business investments, but it has to carry the biggest stigma. Security in the transport sector must be ensured by avoiding all kinds of chaos."Shimul Biswas said, "Everyone must work to clear the bad name of transport sector workers. By avoiding mistakes and misconceptions, we must accept the allegations and self-criticism spread against transport workers and work to realize the rights of the 73.5 million exploited and deprived workers of Bangladesh."Chaired by the president of the organizing organization, Awal Hossain, and moderated by General Secretary Abul Kasem, the event was addressed by Dhaka Transport Owners Association President MA Baten, General Secretary Md.
