BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that associates of the ousted regime are carrying out sabotage and conspiracies in various ways to undermine the democratically elected government and destabilize the country.He urged the people to remain vigilant and alert against such activities. Rizvi made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a programme in Gazirtek, Char Bhadrasan, Faridpur, at 11:00 am on Wednesday (October 14). At the event, he handed over the keys to a newly constructed house built on behalf of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for Md. Lokai Biswas. Medical assistance and support for employment were also provided.

Rizvi alleged that associates of the ousted government had begun conspiring from India, spreading a web of plots against the country.

Referring to an incident involving Nobel laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, Rizvi said he had been disgracefully insulted on foreign soil a few days earlier.

“Just think for a moment about what this does to the country's image,” he said.

The programme was chaired by Faridpur-4 constituency lawmaker Shahidul Islam Bablu. Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf, a member of parliament from Faridpur-3, also addressed the event as a special guest.

Among others, Faridpur District BNP Convener Syed Modarres Ali Isha and General Secretary A.K.M. Kibria Swapan, along with local party leaders, spoke at the programme.

Following his speech, Rizvi handed over the keys to the newly built house to Md. Lokai Biswas on behalf of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. He also distributed medical assistance and sewing machines to support employment opportunities.
