Singapore’s Non-Resident High Commissioner to Bangladesh Derek Loh on Thursday met a BNP delegation and discussed various issues related to bilateral ties and the upcoming election.The meeting, which lasted for more than an hour, began around 4pm at the BNP chairperson's Gulshan office, said BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury led the three-member delegation at the meeting. The other members were BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed and Organising Secretary Shama Obaed. Derek Loh was accompanied by the Singapore High Commission’s Chargé d’Affaires Mitchel Lee and Tai Dai Ern, Country Director for South Asia. Sayrul said the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, where they discussed the current political situation, the next election and bilateral issues between the two countries.
