BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has expressed concern over the presence of what he described as Sheikh Hasina’s “ghost and associates” still embedded in the administration. He alleged that these individuals, entrenched in various sectors of the bureaucracy, are conspiring to create artificial unrest in order to prevent the interim government from holding free and fair elections.Rizvi made these remarks on Thursday (September 4) while speaking to journalists in Brahmanbaria municipality. He was there to convey greetings on behalf of BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to tenth-grade student and young researcher Ahnaf Bin Ashraf Nabil, who recently gained recognition for his innovative work.
BNP’s Economic Affairs Secretary and Brahmanbaria District BNP President Khaled Hossain Mahbub Shyamal, “Amra BNP Paribar” convener Atikur Rahman Ruman, District BNP Senior Vice President Zahirul Haque Khokon, General Secretary Sirajul Islam Siraj, former president Hafizur Rahman Molla Kochi, along with other district BNP leaders and activists, were present. They welcomed Rizvi and expressed their commitment to stand beside Nabil.
Speaking further, Rizvi emphasized that without an elected parliament, no measure can be considered law. “If laws are imposed otherwise, it would undermine the very spirit of the struggle for the rule of law,” he said.
Regarding Nabil, Rizvi praised the young researcher’s brilliance: “At such a tender age, his innovative thinking is extraordinary. Tarique Rahman has conveyed his best wishes to him upon discovering his talent.”
Nabil, a student of Niaz Muhammad High School, is currently developing an app called Guardian Angel. The app aims to provide digital solutions across 19 areas, including ensuring women and child safety and addressing climate change
