Demra Land Office is providing digital, modern and harassment-free services. Md. Zakir Hossain, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Demra Revenue Circle, Dhaka, has been providing harassment-free services to the beneficiaries in various matters including land registration, online land development tax collection and miscase settlement since he joined on 24-04-2025. Assistant Commissioner (Land), Md. Zakir Hossain said, we are doing our utmost to provide harassment-free services to the people. Due to the violence, harassment of external brokers and a class of dishonest officials, there is a negative perception among the people about the land office, which he has overcome and changed the image of Demra Land Office. Recently, some land grabbers have started running around to register their names through fake documents. Necessary action must be taken against them now.He issued a strict warning against land grabbers. Md. Zakir Hossain, a skilled, competent, smart, dedicated, and dutiful officer of the 37th batch of BCS, performed his duties with honesty and sincerity. Recently, a vested interest group has been providing false and misleading information to journalists to tarnish his reputation. A group is spreading propaganda through various media for malicious purposes. He is the victim of conspiratorial outrage for preventing various immoral activities of land robbers. Within just a few months of joining, Md. Zakir Hossain, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Demra Revenue Circle, has settled several thousand and fifty name cases and hundreds of mis-cases. Where it used to take six months to a year to reject land, now it takes only 28 days. This officer has eliminated the ever-present complications of the Demra Revenue Circle (Land) office. When talking to some service recipients, they said, "Acland Sir listens to our problems very well and solves them quickly. Not only that, he has made this office digital and modern."
