Golam Parwar Inaugurates Motorcycle Rally in Khulna

Mia Golam Parwar, Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, warned that if the upcoming election unfolds like those of 2014, 2018, and 2024, the nation will face severe misfortune. He made the remarks on Saturday, November 15, around 9:15 a.m., while inaugurating a motorcycle rally at the Zero Point road meeting in Khulna, where he was the chief guest.Addressing the gathering, Golam Parwar said, “People want change. After the August 5 mass uprising, we are able to carry out activities more normally. I believe the public will vote to build a peaceful Bangladesh.”

Call for Neutral and Fair Administration

He urged the administration to “remain neutral, ensure a transparent election, and provide equal opportunity to all candidates.”

The Jamaat leader added, “In the past, many police officers involved in partisan activities were later held legally accountable. No one will have a way to escape if they commit wrongdoing.”

Emphasis on Change and Anti-Corruption

Golam Parwar also stated, “The wave of change has already begun among the new generation.”

He appealed to curb the influence of black money in the elections, saying, “Those spending hundreds of millions of taka to secure nominations do not have honest intentions; if elected, corruption will increase.”

Rally Route and Public Reception

The motorcycle rally began at Zero Point and passed through Gutudia, Dumuria, Khornia, and Chuknagar, concluding at Shiramani Shaheed Minar. Residents lined the streets, waving to Parwar, while party workers energized the area with Daang Palla symbol slogans.

The road meeting was presided over by GM Abdul Gafur, Amir of Harintana Thana. Speeches were delivered by Maulana Abu Yusuf, candidate for Khulna-1District Secretary Munshi Mizanur RahmanProfessor Mia Golam Quddus, and other local leaders.
