Dr. Amin has also played an important role as the Education and Research Adviser to the Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). Furthermore, he served as the spokesperson for the party’s Central Election Management Committee, where his strategic thinking, professionalism, and analytical capabilities received widespread appreciation. In 2010, Dr. Amin earned an MPhil in Modern South Asian Studies from the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions. His research focused on the history, politics, and policy-making processes of Bangladesh and South Asia. In his thesis, he examined technological integration in public policymaking across South Asia, using India as a key case study. He later pursued doctoral research at Cambridge University, focusing on the electric vehicle industry and green technology.

Driven by a commitment to research and intellectual advancement, Dr. Amin founded the Bangladesh Policy Forum Cambridge, an international think tank with affiliated branches in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Finland, and Bangladesh. Through this platform, he has promoted research, dialogue, and policy discussions on socio-economic development, governance, and the future direction of South Asia.
