Ailing BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is able to receive the treatment being provided by her doctors, according to her personal physician, Dr AZM Zahid Hossain.He shared the information at a press conference in front of Evercare Hospital in the capital on Tuesday (December 2) afternoon.Noting that much unverified information is circulating, he urged everyone to remain patient and not to pay heed to any rumours regarding her physical condition. In response to a question, he said, “The party’s Senior Joint Secretary General, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, will provide updates on matters other than Khaleda Zia’s health. I, Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, will brief the media exclusively on her health. We have requested that no one pay attention to any other briefings.”
