BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that the party has no shortcomings in its preparations for the upcoming national election. He made the remarks on Tuesday (25 November) while speaking to journalists at the party’s central office in Naya Paltan. When asked whether there is any concern or uncertainty surrounding the election, Rizvi replied, “I don’t see it that way. I don’t think ordinary people are worried. The BNP also does not believe that anyone is feeling apprehensive.”He added, “There is no lack of preparation on the part of the BNP. We are fully prepared. After the announcement of the election schedule, the additional preparations required will be taken accordingly.”Commenting on voter sentiment, Rizvi said, “Voters are eager to cast their ballots. There is enthusiasm among them. They want to vote in a festive, joyous atmosphere. I do not see any elements that could disrupt such an environment.”
Expressing optimism, he further stated, “A free, fair, and inclusive election will be held before Ramadan, as pledged by the interim government. I firmly believe that every voter and every political party will participate spontaneously.”
