A daring robbery took place at the home of Matiar Rahman in Afra village under Chandani Union of Rajbari Sadar Upazila. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday (26 November).According to family sources, a group of 10–12 armed robbers broke into the house by forcing open the door. The criminals reportedly assaulted and tied up the family members before looting cash and gold ornaments worth over Tk 20 lakh. Upon receiving the news, police from Rajbari Sadar Police Station and Gandhimara Highway Police Station visited the scene during the night for an inspection. Officer-in-Charge of Rajbari Sadar Police Station, Md. Mahmudur Rahman, said that a case will be filed once a formal complaint is submitted.
